Who is conducting this target shoot and why?
| The Agawam Permanent Fire Fighters Association, in cooperation with the Agawam Revolver Club, is conducting a target shooting competition. Fifty percent of the profits from this event will be donated to the Shriners Burn Center and the remaining fifty percent will be distributed to the Agawam Permanent Fire Fighters Association. |
Who is welcome at this event and what will be happening?
Shooters of ALL SKILL LEVELS from novice to professional are welcome and many prizes will be distributed. The main goal for the day is to raise money for deserving charities and HAVE A GOOD TIME!
Shooters will engage in three to four scored shooting stages and will fire a minimum of a hundred rounds throughout the day. Targets will be steel and drop when hit indicating that points have been scored. Don’t have a weapon? Several different caliber handguns will be provided if you would like to shoot. Remember, we don’t care if you score a zero or win it all… as long as you HAVE A GOOD TIME!
This is a family event and all ages are welcome. However, to shoot you must be at least 14 years of age.
In edition to the competition prizes, a raffle will be conducted. Prizes vary in value.
The Agawam Revolver Club is located on Route 57 (Southwick Street) in Southwick near the Agawam town line. Look for "Longhi's Driving Range". We are on the same road. Go down the paved road to the driving range and turn right just before the driving range onto the dirt road. Travel down the dirt road about 1/4 mile and there you are there.
